Please join us for an informational meeting Saturday about the Baha’i-inspired Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program (JYSEP).
JYSEP is designed specifically for junior youth ages 11-14. The program is in use in thousands of communities around the world and is fostering a spiritual identity in junior youth, creating a moral structure in their lives, and empowering them to serve humanity.
We are looking for youth and young adults interested in being trained as junior youth animators to serve Huntsville junior youth. An “animator” is usually an older youth but not restricted by age, who accompanies group members as they engage in a variety of activities which will help them to accomplish this goal. Together the group studies materials from a curriculum which has been developed to introduce critical moral concepts and simultaneously enhance the member’s power of expression.
We have reserved meeting room “C” on the second floor of the Huntsville Public Library on Saturday, August 29th from 10-11 am.
If you are not able to attend but are still interested in learning more about the program, please contact: huntsvillebahais@gmail.com
